Beneteau First 285 General Information: Beneteau began its second generation of First Yachts in the mid-1980s.
At the time they represented the height of performance, habitability, style, and comfort.
They were designed to be strong and easy for the sailing couple to handle.
Beneteaus First 285 wing keel is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with teak wood trim.
The sugar scoop stern has a fold down ladder and freshwater shower for easy swimming off the stern.
